Andalusia is the regional name for southwestern Spain, essentially the provinces of Huelva, Granada, Cordoba, Jaen, and Almeria. It was under Moorish control until the late 1400s, when Ferdinand and Isabella forced the Moors to capitulate at the city gates of Granada. The magnificent palace of Alhambra fell to the conquering Spanish monarchs, it remains today a wonderful place to visit This map covers southern Spain from the Portuguese border eastward to east of Almeria and north from the Mediterranean to somewhat north of Cordoba on side 1 and includes a new list of Top Attractions. Side 2 shows the Strait of Gibraltar, with ferry routes across to Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta (also known as Sebta) and the British overseas possession of Gibraltar. A large inset map of Gibraltar City at 1:10,000 is also included. The ITMB map of Gibraltar is replaced by this map.
Legend Includes:
Roads by classification, Rivers and Lakes, National Park, Airports, Points of Interests, Highways, Main Roads, Zoos, Fishing, and much more...
